Tina Marie Doody
Ms. Doody has been employed at the Plainfield Public Library since 2009. She has an M.L.I.S. in Library and Information Science from Rutgers University and B.A. with a double major of Political Science and Communications also from Rutgers University. She has been working as a professional librarian for over 12 years and was previously part of the Reference Department at the Montclair Public Library. As the Assistant Director, Tina Marie is responsible for overseeing various department staff, managing the Library's Collection Development Activities, organizing Adult Programming, and assisting with special projects.
During her time at the Plainfield Public Library Tina Marie has overseen the Library's RFID conversion project and was responsible for the logistics of moving the Library's entire collection in a two-week period. She also manages the creation and maintenance of the Library's website and is the Chair of the Collection Development Committee for eLibraryNJ.
