Volunteers

Serve the community! Change someone's life!

Students, ages 15-18 living in the Plainfield area are invited to gain community service by volunteering at the Plainfield Public Library.

Throughout the year teens can help others:

  • Get a GED by tutoring them in Math and Reading
  • Become digitally literate
  • Learn employable skills
  • Gain enough English to fill out a job application
  • Pass the citizenship exam

Call now and make a difference!

Those over 18 who are interested in volunteering should visit the Tutor page or contact the Adult Literacy Department at
(908) 757-1111 x123 or lit@plfdpl.info.
