| Literacy   Volunteers of the Plainfield Public Library - HONORS
 
          We are proud of all of the Tutors, Students and Staff   working together  to make the program such a great success.  Here are   some of the program's accomplishments.
 
 
            
              | 2024 | Rosa Nicks, Adult Literacy Department, receives "Women In NAACP Award" from The Plainfield Area NAACP, in recognition of being a Phenomenal Woman and the amazing   work she does for the library and throughout the community. |  
              | 2021 | Luz (Stella) Segura, Adult Literacy Department, receives "D.A.R. Americanism Award" from the Francis Hopkinson Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.  This award recognizes a naturalized United States citizen who   has demonstrated   the outstanding characteristics of integrity,   trustworthiness, and   patriotism. |
